TWENY LIMITED, a Tanzanian software company, today announced the public launch of SALIO, a new loan repayment tracking platform that gives individual borrowers and lending agencies a single, multi-currency view of their loan obligations.

The platform consolidates loan tracking that has long been fragmented across spreadsheets, banking apps, and paper diaries. SALIO brings it all into one dashboard that converts amounts from any currency to the user's preferred base, and sends email and in-app reminders 14, 7, 3, and 1 day before each repayment, plus on the due day itself. Overdue payments trigger daily reminders for the following seven days.

"Most Tanzanians juggle loans from two or three different lenders at once: a mortgage from a commercial bank, a working-capital line from an MFI, sometimes a USD loan for equipment imports. There has never been a clean way to see all of that in one place. SALIO is that place."
Antweny Sawe, Founder and CEO of TWENY LIMITED

Pre-loaded with Tanzanian lenders
SALIO ships with major Tanzanian banks and microfinance institutions already configured, including CRDB, NMB, Equity Bank, Akiba Commercial Bank, FINCA, and BRAC. Users can add additional lenders (SACCOs, mobile lenders, or informal credit sources) to a directory shared across the platform.

The product is offered in two plans. The Personal plan, aimed at individuals, allows tracking of up to three active loans, delivers up to 15 notifications per month, and includes unrestricted access to the platform's loan calculator. The Agency plan, targeting loan brokers, SACCOs, and small lenders, removes the loan cap, adds workspace member support and per-client loan tagging, and grants priority support.

Both plans deliver notifications strictly over email and in-app, with no SMS-based reminders or premium reminder add-ons.

Free public Calculator
The launch also includes a free, publicly accessible loan calculator that allows anyone, whether signed up or not, to model EMI and flat-rate interest schedules, total fees, and total cost of borrowing before committing to a loan.

"We deliberately kept SALIO focused. We don't issue loans. We don't push credit products. We just make the loans you already have visible and on time. If the platform stops even one missed repayment per user per year, it has already paid for itself many times over."
Antweny Sawe

Built for reliability
SALIO is built on the Laravel 12 framework with an event-driven queue architecture, using Laravel Horizon for queue monitoring and Laravel Pulse for platform observability. These engineering choices, the TWENY LIMITED team says, are aimed at delivering reminders reliably at scale, without the SMS gateway dependencies common to local financial software.

Availability
SALIO is available now at https://salio.co.tz. The Personal plan is free to start; the Agency plan offers a free trial period for new accounts.
